Exhibition design with Ania Jaworska

Outside Design is a large-scale exhibition featuring projects and practices that explore design through biotechnology and ecological systems. The exhibition space is used for lectures, performances, instruction, laboratory research, and material display.

Our team was commissioned to design and coordinate the fabrication of 75 pieces of furniture including vertical pin-up and writing boards (for instruction), desks and benches (for lectures and instruction), and display tables (for exhibition). The furniture pieces are modular and can be used individually and in groups. My additional responsibilities included research and sourcing surface materials for all pieces, using texture and color to differentiate by purpose and use.
