ARC 1021, Spring 2020
Foundations of Architectural + Digital Design
Cal Poly Pomona, College of Environmental Design
Coordinated by Robert Alexander
co-taught w/ Georgina Baronian, Sona Gevorkyan, Saba Salekford, Behn Samareh, Claudia Wainer

Students are exposed to a sequence of interlinked studies focusing on the relationship of building and site, site observation and documentation, and the dimensions of architectural spaces as well as the stuff housed within them. Students will then use these studies to understand scale, orthographic drawing conventions, and three dimensional representational techniques. The final project is a proposal for a new building to house exhibits, a library, and storage areas for the CPP Center for Regenerative Studies.
